The First Post! (Will There Ever be a Second?)

I don't even need a website, I certainly don't need a blog. Well, I sometimes have ideas as to what I may write if I ever do one of these things so I might as well make a start and if another idea actually occurrs to me at least I'll have a place to come and jot it down.

There are certain things of note about most of the songs on the album that I thought people

may find interesting, how I got an idea, or how I achieved a certain sound, so maybe I'll go through the songs one by one and put those things down in a post when I have a spare moment. I could also take it as an opportunity to write about what's coming next. At the moment I'm still in that sort of limbo between the first album and whatever comes next but I want to do a second album (I already have a title for it) so once I get cracking this could be a good place to document it.

Anyway, for now I'm just adding this as a placeholder in the blog as I only decided to create a website today (Saturday 23rd August 2025) and it was looking a bit sparse so I thought a blog would pad it out a bit. I'm under no illusions. I know that barely anyone will ever listen to my music, even fewer people will find their way to my website, and an even smaller percentage of those people will ever read this. Oh well, I'm one of those artists who actually enjoys consuming their own creations so as I alredy listen to my own music, I'll probably come back and be the only person reading my blog posts.
